Reflect lesson plan; Where is your tree?

          Tree is the thing that everyone knows it well. Students can see it everywhere around them but on one realize how importance about it so much.  In this lesson plan teacher try to teach students to love the tree by let them to find their tree and give direction to go there.
         Teacher begin the lesson with ask students to take care the tree at the school. That vey good idea!  Before learning the lesson students have to learn vocabulary and teacher have audio of those word from native speaker to give to student to follow that will help them to learn the correct and the real pronunciation. Moreover it has the conversation to give students to practice listening about telling direction and group work to try out their knowledge that they have learnt. Students have to use language to ask and answer the questions about where is their tree.
The aim of this lesson plan gives students able to ask and give direction. And there are four objectives that students will be able to Listen the sentence about giving directions, listen the conversation about giving directions, speak to explain the direction of their tree and write the conversation about giving directions and present it. And they are coherence with the standard that teacher want it happens in classroom. In the evaluations do not associate with the objective. Teacher should rewrite it again. 
         This lesson plan quite good but teacher should give more information how importance of the tree and why we should reserve the tree and maybe add the game to encourage students in learning language.     

Reflect lesson plan; Recycle in my home

          Recycle is the importance thing that should to teach students to know about it. Recycle is the best way that has positive impact on the world.  It is importance for both the natural environment and us.
         Recycle is the process of separating, collecting and remanufacturing or converting used or waste products into materials. When students learn how it good for us and our world, it will help the world to get rid of the global warming. In this lesson plan it helps students to learn how to sort rubbish in to three include paper, can and bottle in the easy way.  Teacher can create the fun activity and have authentic material to encourage students to learn effectively.  Moreover, the chant about how to sort rubbish, it is very interesting for students to remember what they have learnt.  The topic that teacher taught students can take it to use in their real life and support their public mind.
         In addition, teacher use task base learning that student can learn language from the task that they do. Students can try out their knowledge with learn the new at the same time. The aim, objectives and standard that teacher used are agreeably and teacher have the assessment that can check students’ knowledge outcome so it is very useful lesson plan. 

         Public mind is the necessary thing that teacher should teach to students. Even if it just sorting the rubbish it will help ours world to get better. And it will be good if students can learn it though the target language.

Reflect lesson plan; Busy people


                   Teacher start the lesson by stimulating students' attention by the video about the table manners. Then,teacher asks students the questions from reading the passage about the top ten bad manners. The questions are 1. what manners don't you like the most ? why ? 2. What kind of manners don't you like least? 3. Have you ever experienced with bad manner person before ? please share to your fellow. Next, students learn about the structure when we want someone's bad manner. The structure was " You should............  because.................. and students practic in pair with the following structure. Moreover, the grammar focus was how to use should , must and have to. Students is given the example quite clear. The most exciting thing in her teaching was authentic materials. Overall teaching was very good but teacher should  put more activity in order to practice students's communication skill  such as chain drill or information gap. Her class room language was not very clear . It would be better if she improved more.

Reflect lesson plan; Good ambassadors

        In this lesson, teacher starts the lesson by greeting and checking students’ attendance then, teacher teach vocabulary by let students listening audio and guess what the words that they heard. After that, teacher checks understanding of students about meaning. Next, students learn the conversation about how to asking and giving direction and then students practice by dividing work in groups. Students design situation for practice conversation with their partner. Teacher assign task for the students by drawing map and create conversation with their pairs. Last, Students learn grammar how to asking and giving direction sentences. In class, teacher should speak loudly and clear. Teacher should walked around classroom and try to observe students in class. Teacher uses  appropriate authentic materials such as word cards, picture cards, flash cards, map etc.

Reflect lesson plan; House chore


              Teacher starts the lesson by showing the video that very interesting video and then teacher teaches the concerning vocabulary about house shore such as  , mop the floor , dusting , sweep the floor ,and wash the cloths, etc.  After that ,  students  play game in team. Two team volunteer of five come in the front of the class and play guessing game. Both team members must stand in line and the first person picked the picture. Then , they try to act to tell the next person what the picture is. Finally, the last person had to answer what the picture is, for example, if the first student picks the picture of mopping the floor , he has to act like  mopping  to tell what the picture is.  Next, students were supposed to do chain drill in small group of five by saying about house work. The pattern is " I have to......................'  . The students then has to practice conversation from the dialogue provided and answer the questions relating to the conversation. Next, teacher pick up the language focus and explained how to use it. Before finishing the class, teacher summarize the lesson again and said good bye.

            The overall teaching is quite good but something should be developed. First teacher should change the way in teaching language focus because it seems boring. And, students will not pay attention on it as possible. The next one , the handout and the exercise she provided should be decorated more pictures and color in order to capture students' interest.

Reflect lesson plan;Recycle right


             students were shown the pictures about the effect of global warming and asked the questions relating to global warming. After that, students were taught new vocabulary about global warming . In the screen , Teacher showed the vocab , word class , and the definition of the word. It is considered as a good example on teaching vocabulary because it will make students understand the word easier. Then , teacher led into the first activity which was students had to listen and filled in the blank about global warming . After checking the answers , students were taught the symbol in a word and students practiced to divide the symbol in words together. She showed the video about waste recycling. It is very interesting video that could call students' attention the best. Activity 2 was very exciting . Students had to work in group by sticking the pictures onto the broad with the bins. Students seemed very excited with this activity because they could walk around and the class seemed active and movement. Before finishing the lesson , teacher summarized the contents and said goodbye.

         The authentic materials are very good because they can call students' attention but the thing that she should improve is her classroom language . Teacher seems like less self - confident. If She can improve her language . I thing she will do better next time.

Reflect lesson plan;Cleaning my house

                   In this lesson is about ‘cleaning my house’. Teacher starts with showing the pictures about rooms in house and asks students what we are going to learn today. After that, Teacher teaches the vocabulary from lesson and gives students repeated after sound to pronounce like the foreigner.
                  When teacher starts the lesson teacher asks student about their house such as rooms at house and the activity that students do in their house.  Then teacher plays conversation form audio to students but teacher do not give a worksheet at first. After listen teacher give worksheet to students and let students do it with plays audio again. In the next activity teacher divides students into five groups and gives each group a sentence. When students in each group read sentence they have to make conversation about situation given and present with role play.
                  The lesson is focus on listening and speaking. Teacher wants students to think and practice by listening and speaking skills. When students finish this lesson they will describe about their housework.


Reflect lesson plan; My house

              In this lesson is about  the unit “My House” in lesson: “Let’s to organize your room”. The time required in this lesson is 50 minutes.There are  kinds of materials; however, there are lots of error and the goals that are not well matched enough to the lesson. It can be said that this work needs to be developed and improved. Lesson plan “Let’s to organize the room” consists of unit aim, objectives, standards, instructional materials, evaluation, lesson plan outline, and rubric. In lesson plan outline consists of pre-task (10 minutes), task-cycle (25 minutes), and language focus (15 minutes).
               Firstly, the name of the lesson “Let’s to organize your room”. The name of lesson is error. It should be “Let’s organize your room”. Let we move to the teaching steps.  At first, teacher introduces the lesson by let’s students do activity that it is jigsaw puzzle about room in a house.  Afterwards, teacher divides students into four groups for do this activity, and give a set of jigsaw puzzle to each group and students inside group help to sort out it correctly. The groups that finish the jigsaw puzzle, teacher will ask them “What is this picture about?”  It is a good activity for students to learn the vocabulary, and this is a good point for  teaching.  It can be seen from his words that use many yes/ no questions. It is very important for the teacher to use the classroom language or speak English correctly as much as possible.

                In conclusion, it can be said that “Let’s to organize your room” is one of the interesting lessons, especially in jigsaw game. Teacher’s materials are quite good with a lot of authentic materials. Nevertheless, teacher's language is needed to improve. 

Reflect lesson plan; Eco in my class

           Saving energy is very impotence for ours Earth. Students have to learn how do we  save the energy. Moreover, students have to to it in the right way. In this lesson students will learn it though the target language.
         The lesson that teacher teaches about Eco in my classroom.  the lesson starts by  students answer teacher's question to think about the key words in my classroom such as turn off the light, saving etc. Next, teacher gives sheet no.1 to students and lets them work. After that, Teacher and students checks the correct answers together. Then. students do sheet no.2. It is about the conversation “Turn down the TV!” and teacher shown power point.  Next activity students works into 4 groups to practice the conversation by reading aloud. After finish practicing the conversation, teacher lets 2 volunteer to do role play about the conversation (Turn down the TV!) in front of the class.

        The lesson is consist of instructional Medias, a beautiful power point, VDO about Eco classroom, the conversation about “Turn down the TV!”.  The skills focus for this  listening and speaking.
         

Reflect lesson plan; How often?

                  This lesson is about help our planet by used present simple tense. Teacher starts with let students listen the audio and asks them what video about. Secondly, Teachers shows the vocabulary about lesson such as recycle, reduce, reuse, unplug, turn off etc. Teacher give a worksheet and students do it while they listen conversation. After that, teacher give worksheet about asking how often and what do you do for save our planet.  Next activity, teacher divides students into two groups for communicate the conversation. Language focus is about discusses language feather with students and explain language structures with all students.
                 The activities that is provided in this lesson is very interesting. Students can learn language thought the doing activities. But teacher should be careful about the steps of each activities, teacher should make the direction clearly before let students do it.

Reflect lesson plan; Making an Appointment

          Being on time is very importance for everyone. Especially, Thai people that they do not careful about time. Most of Thai people always come late. That is very bad behavior. It is the teacher’s responsibility to teach the students to pay attention about being on time.
         In this lesson teacher starts with let students watching the video and let they guess what they are going to learn today. Most of students will enjoy to watching the video. That is the best way to persuade them to learn the next lesson. Teacher teaches vocabulary in the lesson. Teacher use the audio of vocabulary and let students pronounce flower it. It is very good that use the picture of those words to show with the meaning and part of speech. Students will remember vocabulary better than they see only word.  After that teacher give students to do work sheet and listen the audio 5 times. When students listen, they have to do the work sheet too and then they all have to check the answer together. Next activity is students have to cerate the conversation with their partner and do the information gap activity. Information gap is the good activity that students can use the language for communicate with their friends.  It helps the class have more movement and students enjoy doing activity more then still siting.
Let’s move to the aim of this lesson plan. The aim is Students will speak to make appointment with someone. The objectives are students will be able too listen making an appointment and tell about them, speak to make an appointment with someone, write how should to do when we have an appointment and be punctual. That focus on listening and speaking skills.

This lesson plan is good for teaching students. It appropriates for students level and gives the interesting activity. Students can learn in the fun way and can be the good person.

                 In this lesson is related to the unit “Signs and notices in real life” in lesson: “Can I help you?”  The time required in this lesson is 50 minutes. This lesson is quite useful lesson.  It can be said that this work needs to be developed and improved. Lesson plan “Can I help you?” consists of learning standards, objectives, instructional materials, evaluation, lesson plan outline, and rubric. In lesson plan outline consists of pre-task (10 minutes), task-cycle (30 minutes), and language focus (10 minutes).
                  First of all, teacher begin with pre-task that spend 10 minutes. Teacher introduces the topic by asking the questions “What do you say in English to ask and give directions?” Next, teacher chooses key words concerning the direction, such as go straight, turn right, turn left, intersection ahead, rotary ahead, etc. Then teacher shows the picture cards, and asks her students “What is the sign?”.  Next, teacher plays the audio twice and checks students understanding by using the exercise. In the language focus step, teacher asks students to discuss with modal verb (Can, Could). 

                   In conclusion, “Can I help you?” is one of good lesson that gives students the experience of public mind of giving direction. Nevertheless, the topic about giving direction is too popular among micro teaching. Though, this lesson is not a new and creating topic, but it can help students to improve their communicative skills. Therefore, it is important for the teacher to think progressively.

Reflect lesson plan; Let’s know herbs for health problem

Teacher starts the lesson by greeting and asking the question about health problems and then teacher tell her event in the past that her mom take care when she sick by using fruits or vegetables. After that, teacher give worksheet to the students about name of Thai herb and health problem , turned on audio sounds for teaching vocabulary together. The exciting step is play game “smell and touch”, teacher divide students into two groups and came in front of the class to play game. Next, teacher plays VDO about some situation (A man go to see the doctor) and ask “What wrong with him?” In the task circle, teacher gives student to match the pictures of herbs with the health problems that they can be used to treat. Lastly, the language focus on auxiliary : should for suggestions about health problems and emphasized the vocabulary that met before.

The authentic materials is used in such as Thai herbs, word cards, picture cards, all of these are very good. teacher pronunciation is clear and loudly. And students very enjoy in learning.

Reflect lesson plan;Hello! New Comer

         Firstly, Teacher starts the lesson by greeting students and talks to the students about the content of this lesson then,teacher teaches vocabulary about direction by let students play question ball game. For example, Why the direction is very important for you? and Did you have some knowledge about how to tell the direction? After that,teacher plays the VDO about direction to the student and asked the questions. Can you remember vocabulary about direction from this VDO?  Next, teacher gives sheet no.1, 2 and gives task no.1, 2 to the students and let them work in pairs. After students finished to do task 1 and 2, teacher and students are checked the answers together. Moreover, Teacher lets students work in group to study the map about Nakon Si Thammarat province and presented it in front of the class. In the end of the lesson, teacher teaches grammar how to asking and giving direction sentences.

         the teacher's instructional Medias power point, VDO about asking for direction, Map of Nakon Si Thammarat province, sheet no 1, 2 and Task no 1, 2, and 3.  They are appropriate authentic materials that is, Map of Nakon Si Thammarat province. It was very interesting. The skills that teacher want to focus for this lesson were listening and speaking.
         But teacher should speak some words more clearly and have to walk around classroom and try to observe students in class. Last, teacher should use the classroom language to checking the students understand before doing any tasks.

Reflect lesson plan;Rude Behaviors

         In this lesson plan, teacher teach about rude behavior that is very good thing for students to learn it.  Going to be a good person is very importance. How to student know that they should do or shouldn’t do that when they go travel aboard.
         Teacher begin the lesson with lets students watching video that someone doing the bed behavior and then give an opportunity to students what are they thinking about it. After that teacher teaches vocabulary that by giving the picture to students guessing the meaning.  In task circle, teacher gives worksheet to students to listen and read the conversation about rude behavior. Students answer comprehension questions to show understanding of the story. Next activity, teacher gives students to work in group.  Students brainstorm in group (3-4people) and discuss about how to suggest good behaviors by using should and shouldn't and let them present in front of the class. And the end of the task teacher teaches grammar focus that students have met in the lesson.
         that they have learnt outside classroom. Teacher gives students to try out their language knowledge by listening and speaking. Students enjoy learning with the fun way. And after that they can use knowledge

Reflect lesson plan;The garbage !

                 Teacher start the lesson by greeting students and stimulated  the situation  by  asking  students  to  look  under  their  table  (There are garbage.and  ask them  what should  they  do  with  these  garbage?  After that , Teacher showers three  kinds  of  bins  and  bring  out  of  the  garbage  and  teach  the  students  a  vocabulary  about  them.  For example, waste  tire,  waste  can,  waste glass, waste paper etc. In Task Cycle, She divided  students  in  to  groups  and  then  ask  them  to  come  out  and  play  game  " Where  should  I  go ? ".  This  game  one  of  the  students  have  to  be  close  their  eyes  and  each  students  in  their  group  have  to  run  to  get  a  garbage  and  bring  it  back  to  the  blinded  students.  After  that  he  have  to  ask  "Is  this a / an .......... ?"  If  his  answer  correct  he  has  to  put  that  garbage  in  the  correct  bin  also.  From  this  point  the  students  is  going  to  have  fun   and  also  learn  how  to  ask  and give information  with  their  friends.  Moreover ,  they  are  going  to  learn  how  to  divide  the  garbage  in  each  kinds  of  bin. In the final part, Teacher explains the grammar point. The Interrogative sentence of Present Perfect Tense, how to use and give example according the handout.
                    This lesson is very fun because there have a game for students to play. And they can learn by playing that game.  Students can learn vocabulary thought seeing authentic materials.

Reflect lesson plan; What is acid rain ?

                   Teacher started with the video about acid rain for asking students what we are going to learn. It make students thinking by themselves.
Teacher reviews the vocabulary by lets students to play game for made students have fun and learn in the same time.
                  Students can find their partner and show the picture card in front of class. Then, teacher taught the vocabulary by show the meaning in Thai and give students repeat after the sound. That is all of vocabulary about acid rain. In addition, teacher divides students in group to rearrange the sentences and use them to explain the cycle of acid rain. There was structure of lesson; teacher used ‘will’ by subject+will+v1 for class today.
                  Teacher had many activities to improve students and the video that is given to students very interesting. Playing a game can help students remember and fun more than teacher give only contents. 

Reflect lesson plan;Traffic Pollution Damages Kid’s Lungs

                    Traffic pollution is very dangerous for people healthy especially lungs. In this lesson students will learn how dangerous of pollution and how to  protect ourself form the bad pollution.
                    Teacher start the lesson by greeting students and gave students the pictures which concerned to the topic. Asking students guess what they are going to learn and to enhance students’ interest. Next, teacher teach the key words concerning Traffic Pollution Damage Kid’s Lungs, such as undertaken, traffic fumes, highway, weakened, etc. Then, teacher divide Task Cycle into three steps that is, Pre-listening and While-listening. At the end, teacher talks about grammatical function of Present Participial. 
                     The passage that teacher give to students to listen and fill in the blank is quite difficult. Teacher should give easily and shorter passage because if it too long student will be boring and don't want to do it.  And in the class should have fun game that related to the lesson to encourage students.

Reflect lesson plan;The beaches are disappearing

                   In this reason is about "Tourism and the Environment"  in lesson: “The beaches are disappearing”. The time required in this lesson is an hour per period. Because of in Thailand it have many beach and it importance to teach students to how can they save the beach.
                  From the lesson “The beaches are disappearing” teacher  has set the learning standard as the following; 1.1(4): Answer questions from listening to and reading sentences, dialogues and 1.2 (5): Speak and write to describe their own feelings and opinions about various matters, activities, experiences and news/incidents, as well as provide justifications appropriately. Terminal objectives: Students will be able to listen to the story and the conversation about the beach in Thailand. Moreover, she has set the enabling objective as follows: Students will be able to listen and answer questions from the story and the conversation about the beach in Thailand and student will be able to speak and write to describe their own feelings and opinions about the beach using expressing obligation. In the teaching steps, she introduces students about the new vocabulary, and then she lets students match the picture with the correct words. I think that it is a great idea to teach students the vocabulary by game. Moreover, her classroom language is quite good. Nevertheless, there are some mistakes that she can do it better if she improves it. The recording of the conversation relating to the lesson “The beaches are disappearing” represents of her enthusiasm in teacher, but she can do it better, if she native speakers in her audio recording.

                      “The beaches are disappearing” is one of good lessons to teach English with public mind, if teacher designs the goal and the content appropriately.  In addition, Nunthiya s’ teaching materials are very interesting, but in some activities need to be to developed to be the better ones. However, “The beaches are disappearing” is the lesson that enhances students to think the ways to take care the world and public mind to save the environment and help the others. At the end of lesson students can get both knowledge and morality.

การสอนวิธีนี้เกิดขึ้นสงครามโลกครั้งที่สองที่อเมริกาพยายามที่จะให้ผู้คนเรียนภาษาต่างประเทศให้ได้อย่างรวดเร็ว ในช่วงนั้นเราเรยกมันว่า Army Method ซึ่งจุดมุ่งหมาบของวีธีการนี้ก็คือต้องการให้ฟังและพูดภาษาเป้าหมายได้
