Reflect lesson plan; Making an Appointment

          Being on time is very importance for everyone. Especially, Thai people that they do not careful about time. Most of Thai people always come late. That is very bad behavior. It is the teacher’s responsibility to teach the students to pay attention about being on time.
         In this lesson teacher starts with let students watching the video and let they guess what they are going to learn today. Most of students will enjoy to watching the video. That is the best way to persuade them to learn the next lesson. Teacher teaches vocabulary in the lesson. Teacher use the audio of vocabulary and let students pronounce flower it. It is very good that use the picture of those words to show with the meaning and part of speech. Students will remember vocabulary better than they see only word.  After that teacher give students to do work sheet and listen the audio 5 times. When students listen, they have to do the work sheet too and then they all have to check the answer together. Next activity is students have to cerate the conversation with their partner and do the information gap activity. Information gap is the good activity that students can use the language for communicate with their friends.  It helps the class have more movement and students enjoy doing activity more then still siting.
Let’s move to the aim of this lesson plan. The aim is Students will speak to make appointment with someone. The objectives are students will be able too listen making an appointment and tell about them, speak to make an appointment with someone, write how should to do when we have an appointment and be punctual. That focus on listening and speaking skills.

This lesson plan is good for teaching students. It appropriates for students level and gives the interesting activity. Students can learn in the fun way and can be the good person.

Lesson 2 : Making an Appointment                                          Time:  50 minutes

Unit Aim: Students will speak to make appointment with someone.
Objectives:
By the end of this lesson, students will be able to
1.     Listen making an appointment and tell about them.
2.     Speak to make an appointment with someone.
3.     Write how should to do when we have an appointment.
4.     Be punctual.

Standard:
           1.2.1 Speak and write to present data themselves/ experiences, news/incidents, matters and various issues of interest to society.                                                                   
           1.2.5 Speak and write to describe their own feelings and opinions about various matters, activities, experiences and news/ incidents with proper reasons.
          
Contents:
Grammar:        I would like to see/meet … about …
                        I would like to talk to … regarding …
I would like to make an appointment with …
                  
Vocabulary:     appointment, seminar, satisfactory

1. Teacher introduces lesson by let’s students watching the video about making an appointment and lets students talk about what they have learnt from watching the video.

2. Teacher introduces necessary vocabulary that students will meet in the lesson; appointment, seminar, satisfactory

Task Cycle (30 minutes)
3. Teacher opens  2 audio about “ Making an Appointment” 5 times
- The first time of the first one, while listen students fill in the blank in worksheet.
- The second time, student listen again and discuss about the answer.
- The third and fourth time is new audio,  student  listen, answer the questions  and discuss answer in worksheet.
- The fifth time, students follow the audio and look at power point. Then student work in pair, create new conversation about Making an Appointment, practice in pair. Then students present o friends. After that student practice communication by asking friend in information gap.
4. Students work in group, write how should to do when we have an appointment, then present to friends.





Students listen the audio first times and fill in the blank in worksheet.

Students listen the audio second time and discuss about the answer.

Students follow the audio and look at power point. Then student work in pair, create new conversation about Making an Appointment, practice in pair Then students practice communication by asking friend in information gap
