Reflect lesson plan; My house

              In this lesson is about  the unit “My House” in lesson: “Let’s to organize your room”. The time required in this lesson is 50 minutes.There are  kinds of materials; however, there are lots of error and the goals that are not well matched enough to the lesson. It can be said that this work needs to be developed and improved. Lesson plan “Let’s to organize the room” consists of unit aim, objectives, standards, instructional materials, evaluation, lesson plan outline, and rubric. In lesson plan outline consists of pre-task (10 minutes), task-cycle (25 minutes), and language focus (15 minutes).
               Firstly, the name of the lesson “Let’s to organize your room”. The name of lesson is error. It should be “Let’s organize your room”. Let we move to the teaching steps.  At first, teacher introduces the lesson by let’s students do activity that it is jigsaw puzzle about room in a house.  Afterwards, teacher divides students into four groups for do this activity, and give a set of jigsaw puzzle to each group and students inside group help to sort out it correctly. The groups that finish the jigsaw puzzle, teacher will ask them “What is this picture about?”  It is a good activity for students to learn the vocabulary, and this is a good point for  teaching.  It can be seen from his words that use many yes/ no questions. It is very important for the teacher to use the classroom language or speak English correctly as much as possible.

                In conclusion, it can be said that “Let’s to organize your room” is one of the interesting lessons, especially in jigsaw game. Teacher’s materials are quite good with a lot of authentic materials. Nevertheless, teacher's language is needed to improve.

1. Speak to describe information about how to organize in your room. 
2. Listen the conversation and fill in the blank from conversation.
3.Understand meaning of  the vocabulary about  how to organize in your room.

Pre-Task  (10 minutes)
 1. Teacher introduces the lesson by let’s students do activity that it is jigsaw puzzle about room in a house.  Teacher divide students on four groups for do this activity.  Teacher give a set of jigsaw puzzle to each group and students inside group help to sort out it , correctly. If which group sort out jigsaw puzzle and they can tell “What is this picture about?”  to teacher correctly is the first group, they will get one point to teacher. After that, teacher changes set of jigsaw puzzle between each group and student act to sort out jigsaw puzzle and they can tell “What is this picture about?”  to teacher correctly again. Teacher tells the students about the story what we are going to learn.

2.  T introduces important vocabulary that students will meet in the lesson: appliance, bed room, living room, kitchen, clean, , upstairs, balcony, , by using hangman game and power point program
Task Cycle (25 minutes)
3.  Teacher commands to students for look at picture house in power point program and teacher ask to student ““What is this picture about?” .After that, teacher gives
  T gives Task 1 to students and lets them listing to Conversation about placing household appliances for orderliness
T opens this conversation for       3 times
  - The first times, after listening students know content of short story, approximately.
        - The second times, teacher      opens the audio again and teacher command to student answer the question from short story in Task 1 sheet.
          - The third times, teacher opens the audio in final time for checking the correct answer from conversation in Task 1 sheet.

4. Teacher let’s move practice speaking skill for students by use conversation about how to organize your room and students have to practice with partners.

5. Teacher opens a picture about disorganized room on power point program and teacher command to students. You should be guess and tell to teacher “What is this picture about?”


6. Teacher gives work in group to students and teacher divide students on four groups again and lets each group do Task 2. First of all, teacher opens video about    “How to organize desk in a room?” Then students in each group help to organize desk smooth and orderly inside seven minutes.
 After students finished organize it already, students have to speak for explain opinions about how to organize desk in a room.

Language Focus (15 minutes)

7.  Teacher gives sheet no.1 to students. Teacher discusses language feathers with students and explains the language structures with all students. (Teacher explains about structure and using Wh- question for asking to students.)








Students inside each group help to sort out jigsaw puzzle and they can tell “What is this picture about?”  to teacher , correctly.


















Students learn  important vocabulary that students will meet in the lesson from hangman game and power point program






Students speak to teacher. This/That picture is about dirty room.










Students listen again and answer the question from short story in Task 1 sheet.


Students check the correct answer from short story in Task 1 sheet.

Using Wh- Question Words
         We use question words to ask certain types of questions (question word questions). We often refer to them as WH words because they include the letters WH (for example Why, How).

         Example sentence:

Practice
Practice asking and answers the questions to your friends by use Wh- question (What)   by chain drill activity

Directions: Please share your idea inside your group and discuss about from this topic “If inside your favorite room in the house has disorganized desk, how to organize desk in a room”.
