Reflect lesson plan; Recycle in my home

          Recycle is the importance thing that should to teach students to know about it. Recycle is the best way that has positive impact on the world.  It is importance for both the natural environment and us.
         Recycle is the process of separating, collecting and remanufacturing or converting used or waste products into materials. When students learn how it good for us and our world, it will help the world to get rid of the global warming. In this lesson plan it helps students to learn how to sort rubbish in to three include paper, can and bottle in the easy way.  Teacher can create the fun activity and have authentic material to encourage students to learn effectively.  Moreover, the chant about how to sort rubbish, it is very interesting for students to remember what they have learnt.  The topic that teacher taught students can take it to use in their real life and support their public mind.
         In addition, teacher use task base learning that student can learn language from the task that they do. Students can try out their knowledge with learn the new at the same time. The aim, objectives and standard that teacher used are agreeably and teacher have the assessment that can check students’ knowledge outcome so it is very useful lesson plan. 

         Public mind is the necessary thing that teacher should teach to students. Even if it just sorting the rubbish it will help ours world to get better. And it will be good if students can learn it though the target language.



Lesson Plan
Unit 3: Recycle
Lesson 1: Recycle in my home
Class: Students in Grade 9(Basic)
Time: 30 minutes

Standard:
1.1.4 Choose/specify the topic, main idea and supporting details and express opinions about what has been heard and read from various types of media, as well as provide justifications and examples for illustration.
1.2.2  Use requests appropriately and give instructions, clarifications and explanations.

Unit aim
 Students will be able to explain sorting rubbish for recycle to other people.
Objectives:
By the end of this lesson, students will be able to;
1. listen to main ideas about sorting rubbish  process
2. answer the questions about sorting rubbish process correctly.
3. explain steps of sorting rubbish by using sequencing words: first, next, then, after, finally.
Teaching Materials: a video clip,  power point presentation slides, red bin, green bin, blue bin, handout and worksheet , authentic materials.

T  shows cans, bottles, newspapers and asks question. For example,

T: Now I want you to watch a fun video clip.  And during watching, I want you to do this exercise 1.
T gives a handout to Ss
Are you ready?

T plays the video clip. After T asks question about the video clip.

TASK-CYCLE

1.Playing Game
T: Now I want you to play game. It’s called “amazing recycle”

T  explains rules of game.

- I will divide you into two groups. Now let’s count 1,2, 1, 2, 1…..
Who counts one please stand up. Group 1 will be on the left and group 2 will be on the right side.
-Each group will be given the rubbish to recycle. You have to stick each rubbish on the correct bin as we can see from the video clip. OK I’ll show you. 
The group that finishes first will be the winner.
Are you ready? OK Go!

Now I want each group to send the representatives to give presentation on your work. For example, Good morning everyone. My name is ……..   I would like to show you how to recycle the rubbish.
The blue bin is used for…….

2.Step of sorting rubbish
I will give example step of sorting rubbish.
First, students prepare the red bins, green bins, and blue bins for sorting rubbish.
Next, students are prepare the rubbish.
Then, students put the cans in the blue bins.
After, students put the bottles in the green bins.
After that, students put the newspapers in the red bins.
Finally, students are going do the recycle things by yourself.

   -I will divide you into four groups. Now let’s count 1,2, 3, 4, 1…..
  - I want to make step of sorting rubbish by using first,next,then,after…..and Practice about step of sorting rubbish and
I want each group to send the representatives to give presentation step of sorting rubbish in front class.

First, students prepare the red bins, green bins, and blue bins for sorting rubbish.
Next, students are prepare the rubbish.
Then, students put the cans in the blue bins.
After, students put the bottles in the green bins.
After that, students put the newspapers in the red bins.
Finally, students are going do the recycle things by yourself.
