Role Plays for ESL /EFL classroom

      Role Plays are the one of the importance in the Communicative Approach  because they give students an opportunity to practice communicating in different social contexts and different social roles. Role play provides the interesting activities for learner especially young learner to ac and play as a tool to learn the language. There are the ways that to give the role play for learner follow these steps and then make student have fun with the activity.
      the fist step for the teacher is to decide teaching materials that should be the authentic material and based on students level and their interest. the second is to select the situation and create the dialogs. the situations of role plays should be selected by the learners because they can develop their thinking skill and make their own idea.  the third is teacher teach the dialog, vocabulary and sentence that is use in the role play. the fourth is to have student practice the role play before performing because it will give them more confident to act.  the fifth is to have students modify situation and dialog to create their own role play next time. the last one is to evaluate and check students' comprehension by using simple questions or asking to react the role play.
    To conclusion,  role play is a fun activity that provide learning experience. It gives opportunities for students to act and interact with their match by using English. If teacher using role play it can light up the atmospheres to get students enjoy learning easier. Role play is a useful teaching method which good for used with ESL and EFT classroom.
